2015 marks the 14th year of Dinner With a Scholar events in Orange County. Each year, the Bureau of Jewish Education features an exciting lineup of compelling speakers in fabulous coastal host homes. Each of the seven events this season were smash hits in our community, bringing supporters of Jewish Orange County together for fun and meaningful learning on captivating topics including “Dropping the Needle” on classical music with Pacific Symphony President John Forsyte, the first hand accounts of Carl St.Clair & Jamie Bernstein on their relationships with the late Leonard Bernstein, the compelling story of Operation Solomon Hero, Micha Feldmann, the art of negotiation with Leigh Steinberg- the real-life Jerry Maguire, stand-up comedy with comedian and TV writer Elon Gold, and the history of “Jews & Booze” by the foremost expert, Dr. Glenn Dynner.
