Dr. Uzi Rabi, professor of Middle Eastern and African history at Tel Aviv University, Professor Rabi specializes in the modern history of the Gulf states and is a Research Fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies.He received his Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University in 1999 from the Department of Middle Eastern History. He is the author of numerous publications on Middle Eastern Affairs, focusing mainly on the political and socio-economic developments of states in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula. He has also written several articles on oil and politics in the Middle East.
