Scholarships

The Bureau has scholarship funds available to assist with our youth program fees. No teen/child who wishes to participate has ever been turned down for financial reasons.

In order to apply for a scholarship, and for us to process your scholarship request, we need the following completed and returned for the program(s) you wish to enroll.

1. A program application, and
2. A scholarship application

Program and scholarship applications can be downloaded from the list below. When completing the program enrollment form, please write "pending scholarship" in the payment section. Once the allocations have been awarded, you will receive an email with the results of your request. For scholarship questions, please contact Sheri Gropper @ 949-435-3450 or [email protected].

Jewish Federation & Family Services’ Passport to Jewish Life® program, the Bureau’s partner agency, also provides grants to assist students who need help with TALIT Nation tuition. The entire process is online: eligibility, guidelines, application checklist and application at www.JewishOrangeCounty.org/passport. You may apply to both the Bureau’s scholarship fund AND the Jewish Federation & Family Services Passport to Jewish Life®. Deadlines to apply for the Passport to Jewish Life® program are:

1. Monday, August 5th at 5pm
2. Monday, September 9th at 5pm

Applications and recommendation letters must be received by deadline to be included in a decision meeting. September 9th is the FINAL deadline for all TALIT Nation Passport applications.
